Pure App Partners with TBD Health for At-Home STD Testing

Pure App, a dating platform known for its adventurous approach to connections, has partnered with TBD Health, a nationwide sexual health provider, to introduce at-home STD testing and sexual healthcare services for its users in the United States. This collaboration aims to provide a convenient, private, and non-judgmental way for individuals to manage their sexual health on their own terms.

Users of the Pure App can now access a variety of STD testing panels through TBD Health directly within the app. If users are uncertain about which tests they need, they can consult with TBD Health’s sex-positive clinicians via teleconsultation. These clinicians will review requests, send out appropriate tests, and provide prescriptions if necessary, ensuring users receive comprehensive care.

The initiative is part of Pure App’s broader campaign to redefine safe dating by integrating sexual health tools into the dating experience. Chantal Pesulima, Pure’s Director of Integrated Marketing, emphasized the importance of empowering users to take control of their health, stating, “We’re redefining what it means to date safely and firmly believe that allowing our users to access at-home STD testing in our app allows for safe, empowering experience.”
