QuackQuack Reaches 35 Million Users, Shares New Trends
India’s leading dating platform, QuackQuack, has entered 2025 with a remarkable milestone: a user base exceeding 35 million. Marking its position as the country’s most downloaded dating app, QuackQuack celebrated this achievement by conducting a comprehensive survey of 10,000 active users. The study, sent out to various online publications directly and spanning participants aged 18 to 40 across various professions and cities, aimed to identify user preferences and areas for improvement.
Founder and CEO Ravi Mittal reflected on the app’s growth in 2024, highlighting milestones like 30 million app downloads, record matches, and high engagement. “We are hoping this survey will give us more ideas on how to make the dating experience even better for our users who have placed their trust in us,” Mittal said.
Key findings revealed two dominant trends shaping the platform: increased weekend activity and a rise in cross-city connections. Traffic surged by 11% on weekends, translating to 400.8 million monthly screen views. Additionally, over 30% of users aged 28–35 reported forming connections beyond their home cities, contributing to 5.18 million matches last year.
Safety remains a top priority for users, with 39% of respondents emphasizing robust verification processes when choosing a dating app. Another standout feature, the “Chat before Match” tool, garnered praise for enabling users to build rapport before committing to a match.
QuackQuack also noted shifts in user behavior, including a rise in reconnecting with past matches and a growing preference for authentic profiles over highly curated ones. As dating culture evolves, the platform predicts continued emphasis on genuine interactions and rekindled connections.
