TikTok Highlights LGBTQIA+ Creators for Pride Month 2026

TikTok has announced its Pride Month 2026 initiatives, focusing on eight rising LGBTQIA+ creators and small business owners. The platform will promote these individuals across its owned channels and feature them prominently in a dedicated Pride hub throughout June. The company described the selected creators as those who educate and inspire through high-quality content that shapes culture on the app.

This year’s programming builds on increased LGBTQIA+ activity on the platform. Between April 29 and May 28, posts using #PrideTikTok increased by 64%, while #Pride posts rose by 77%. TikTok said these trends reflect users expressing themselves more authentically during the Pride season.

By spotlighting specific creators and small businesses, the platform aims to foster greater inclusivity and raise awareness of diverse voices within its user base. TikTok’s has a role as a significant space for LGBTQIA+ community connection and visibility – as do many social apps – and its use user base means that there is also a proportionally huge queer presence on the platform.

A full list of featured creators and their descriptions is included in the TikTok Newsroom post about the announcement, ranging from vintage collectors to family-life content creators to singer-songwriters. Each one feels that TikTok has allowed them to get their voice, content or niche out to a wider world and has helped them build an accepting community in the process.
