X Integrates Grok AI into Ads Manager for Enhanced Advertising Tools
X has begun beta testing of Grok integration within its Ads Manager platform, providing advertisers with artificial intelligence-powered guidance for campaign development.
The update allows users to consult xAI’s Grok chatbot for advice on advertising strategies. It also includes new tooltips and features to assist with in-stream ad creative generation. The beta was first noted by app researcher testingcatalog and has been confirmed for select advertisers.
This development builds on X’s April 2026 launch of an updated Ad Manager system, which incorporated AI guidance across various functions. The platform was described at the time as the company’s most significant advertising system overhaul. Improvements focused on better understanding user interests to enhance ad relevance and delivery in alignment with real-time trends.
Elon Musk, owner of X, has previously indicated that the long-term vision includes full advertising automation powered by Grok, encompassing ad safety checks and content matching. The current Grok integration represents a step toward more agentic advertising systems, where AI can analyze audience data and suggest or generate campaigns based on observed patterns.
With over 550 million users, X possesses substantial data for AI systems to draw insights from. Grok’s integration could enable more sophisticated persona matching and targeting by evaluating profile information and in-app activity at scale. The beta test is currently limited, and full rollout details have not been announced. The feature is expected to evolve as testing progresses and user feedback is incorporated.
