HitchUp Is Indian Tinder With Worldwide Rankings

HitchUp

HitchUp is a new Indian dating app that uses Tinder-style matching features.

User mark their region and set their age range to search for a potential partner.

They can then view the profiles of other singles and choose whether to hitch or ditch someone.

The Delhi-based app then uses Tinder’s double opt-in functionality, keeping interest private until someone likes you back.

Aseem Singhal, the founder of HitchUp, said:

“The aim of this app is to get the right Match for you. We are re-defining the term ‘Matches are made in heaven’ to ‘Matches are made on HitchUp’. So keep Hitching till you get your perfect Match!”

Users can also check their worldwide ranking on the app, which they can improve by inviting friends, or by sharing the number of matches they have on Facebook or Twitter.

Jatin Jolly, PR Manager of HitchUp, said:

“Considering that there are no inappropriate or vulgar messages sent on the app, HitchUp is definitely one its kind in the social networking arena, and I know it will be a great success.”

HitchUp was launched on June 8th 2014 on Android, with iOS following soon.
