AnastasiaDate Sees Growth In European Members
AnastasiaDate, the site that matches Western men with women from Russia, Ukraine and Eastern Europe, has announced a huge growth in members from Europe.
Founded in 1993 by a Russian-American couple, the site has become one of the most popular dating sites in the world and its popularity is increasing.
The company has a network of over 1000 dating agency partners in cities in Russia and CIS (Commonwealth of Independent States), and seeks to match up exotic and beautiful women with successful Western men.
Their website gives some explanation as to why they offer this service, and why it is so popular:
Women of Russia & CIS are looking for a “normal” family life, which for them is difficult to come by for numerous complex reasons. World War II decimated the Russian male population from which many believe the nation has not recovered. Last Russian census documented over 77 million women to approximately 66 million men. Great odds in any bachelor’s book. These numbers alone stack the deck against finding a suitable mate for even the most beautiful and talented woman.
The site has around 4 million members and 10 million online visits monthly, and they employ around 300 people in offices in the US and Moscow.
They claims to have around 6000 international marriages a year and a success rate of approximately 80%.
They recently released an Android App, which is available here.
