Dating app Hot or Not is offering £1,000 to developers who pass their interview process – even if they don’t take the job.
The London-based Tinder forebears are relaunching this year on iPhone and are recruiting developers to design new features.
Their website says: “We’re looking for the most talented iOS developers to create new features for a full launch later this year.
“As an incentive, we’ll give you £1,000 for passing our interview process, whether you accept the job or not.”
They are perhaps looking to distance themselves from rivals Tinder, by expanding beyond the profile-swiping feature – saying that they expect to be “one of the biggest social networks in the very near future”.
Candidates must be have a minimum of 18 months experience with iOS development, be up to date with Cocao, along with good understanding of UIKit, CoreAnimation and GCD & Networking.
After the application process, the company’s hiring managers will interview successful candidates over Skype or in their London offices and those who pass this round will meet the dev team and be interviewed on site.
Those then offered a role will receive £1000.
