A new online dating help site is determined to give singles the sense of security they need to meet someone special.
Date2Relate.com is an online dating help and information site designed to help singles have an enjoyable dating experience within a safe and supportive community.
Steve Spector, former attorney and founder of Date2Relate.com, created the site with his own dating experiences in mind.
He said: “Many of us singletons who date online have had at least one encounter with a scammer, a phony, or a ghost. It’s almost a rite of passage!
“Unfortunately, repeated negative online dating experiences can leave us frustrated, isolated and disappointed.”
The site adopts a subscription-based model, offering users a range of packages including its own Total Dating Life Management (TDLM) feature.
Available on three or six month subscription, the TDLM solution can write profiles, evaluate photos, select optimal marketing locations and filter unsuitable profiles and content for its users.
Spector believes these supportive features are what sets D2R apart from other online dating services.
He said: “Few online sites are able to offer the comprehensive, intense and interactive dating experience that Date2Relate.com provides.
“We reach beyond the formulaic, offering a culture of dating that includes a supportive, professional community, and a wealth of information for people looking to find that special someone they know is ‘out there somewhere’.”
The site also offers blog posts, videos, book reviews and a dating quiz, aiming to provide more enjoyment for users looking for love.
Given that the site is brand new, its design is a little lacklustre, but Spector hopes that users will overlook this.
He said: “Our homepage is in a state of transition and we hope folks now look beyond the cover and aren’t scared away by the excess. We have heard you and it will get better very soon.”
D2R’s founder is also determined to counter the oppressive perceptions of today’s online dating industry, and has committed to compiling research about dating violence that can be accessed by users.
Spector said: “We’ve created what we think is the best collection of dating violence resources on the Net and we hope to expand it with the help of the Date2Relate.com community. We want all our subscribers to feel safe and confident.”
D2R will also be donating one percent of its annual net receipts to organisations committed to ending issues of dating violence and sexual assault, including Mariska Hargitay’s Joyful Heart Foundation.
