GDI is excited to confirm that multi award-winning online dating site Lovestruck will be speaking at our upcoming conference next month.

Co-founder and CTO Laurence Holloway will join speakers from ITN, DataIQ, Wiggin LLP and dating app Her at the event next month, all covering a range of vital issues and topics related to the online dating industry.

Lovestruck was founded in 2006 by Laurence Holloway and Brett Harding, and was originally called London Lunch Date, matching City professionals for lunch dates with other singles who worked nearby in central London.

A year later, the site was rebranded to Lovestruck and expanded its online dating services, and since then has seen incredible growth – being named the fifth fastest-growing UK tech company by Deloitte in 2013, winning numerous other awards and expanding its services to Asia.

Holloway’s talk will cover one of biggest issues in the industry – whether paid and premium services can survive in the mobile world.

Earlier this year, the Online Dating Association (ODA) added Holloway to its board of directors, taking the position of Director of Online Dating.
