Bumble and Goodfood Partner for Date Meal-Kits
Dating app Bumble is partnering with Canadian meal-kit company Goodfood to help spice up dating this winter. The companies are collaborating on a special set of meal-kits which are designed for a romantic third date.
In a recent survey, the companies found that the third date is when Canadians feel most comfortable hosting a love interest at their home for dinner, or visiting the other person’s home for an evening meal.
To help daters create a romantic evening at home, Goodfood and Bumble collaborated on a limited edition set of ‘3rd Date Meal-Kits’.
These meal-kits are:
- Creamy Lobster & Chive Pappardelle
- Bone-in Rib Steak with Herb & Garlic Pan Sauce, Mascarpone Mash, Cipollini-Tomato-Beet Salad
- Pan-Seared Halibut with Garlic Knot Potatoes, Radicchio & Date Salad with Champagne Vinaigrette
“At Goodfood, we believe that cooking brings people together and helps them build stronger connections,” shared Jennifer Stahlke, Executive Vice President Marketing at Goodfood.
“We’re thrilled to partner with Bumble, a brand that fosters meaningful matches, to continue helping Canadians connect through food and give them a chance to impress that special someone with their cooking skills!”, she added.
70% of Gen Z and Millennial survey respondents shared that knowing how to cook is an important trait in a partner. Furthermore, cooking at home might be preferable during the winter when driving can be dangerous and most people prefer to spend evenings at home, Goodfood shared.
To order the limited edition 3rd Date Meal-Kits, Canadians can visit makegoodfood.ca from January 15th to February 7th.
