The GDI London Conference and Spotlight on Startups competition is fast approaching!

And ahead of the day (Thursday 27th October), we just wanted to give attendees a run down of the two venues for the event, as well as further details about the day.

GDI London Conference

From 10am until 4pm, we will be hosting our latest GDI London Conference, which will be held at five star hotel The Grange in St Paul’s.

The Grange, which is situated just off of St Paul’s Cathedral, is a fantastic venue for the day’s conference, with a contemporary glass interior, large conference hall, an array of bars and a restaurant where guests can enjoy a complimentary lunch.

Once inside the building, guests will need to go downstairs to the Milton Suite where you can register and help yourself to complimentary tea, coffee and pastries before the conference starts.

For the conference, we are pleased to announce our best lineup yet, with speakers like TechCrunch’s Mike Butcher along with representatives from if(we), Feeld, TrueView, Dating Factory, Securion Pay, Venntro and Oxford University researcher Taha Yasseri all presenting on the day.

Check out the full agenda here.

The Grange itself is easy to get to and is just a short walk from a number of stations, including: St Paul’s, City Thameslink, Blackfriars, Mansion House and Bank.

Spotlight on Startups Competition

Our brand new Spotlight on Startups competition will run from 6.30pm until 11pm at The Singer Tavern in Shoreditch in the evening of 27th October following our London conference.

The event will see the hottest new dating startups pitch and get grilled by our panel of industry experts & the audience before a public vote decides who will be named the GDI Spotlight winner.

You can see our full list of finalists, who will all be pitching on the night, here.

With a completely different feel to the day conference, Spotlight on Startups will be held downstairs in the modern bar, where we will put on complimentary food & booze throughout the evening.

The Singer Tavern is also easy to get to – just a 20 min walk, or 10 min cab, from The Grange, and minutes from Moorgate and Old Street station.
