CLiKD Announces Launch of Nationwide ‘Love In 21’ Photography Competition
CLiKD has announced that its ‘Love In’ photography competition will be returning in the second half of 2021, to celebrate positivity and compassion across the UK.
First launched in 2018, the competition usually only accepted entries from London. However, the latest instalment, titled ‘Love In 21’, will showcase images from across the country to mark the end of lockdown restrictions.
Winners will be chosen in six categories with one of them also going on to take an overall award.
The six categories are: Love Your Home Town, Love Your Community, Love Your Partner, Love Your Family & Friends, Love Your Pets and Love What You Do.
‘Love In 21’ continues to raise money for ‘Relate’, a charity that provides relationship support, such as counselling and therapy, to couples in the UK. CLiKD is asking for donations alongside all entries, although this is not compulsory.
Co-founder and CEO Michael Blakeley said in a LinkedIn post: “In 2018, on the back of a pretty horrendous year for Londoners, my team at CLiKD decided to launch the Love In London competition, a photography for positivity campaign sharing images of love and compassion at a time where we all needed some good news.
“This year, and to celebrate the easing of lockdown restrictions, we have decided [to] go UK wide with our campaign for positivity, partnering with some of the great marketing groups from across the country.”
The last winner of a ‘Love In London’ competition was called ‘Proposal at London Pride 2019’, depicting a couple getting engaged surrounded by a crowd of excited revellers.
