Dating platform Dua.com looked at the Zodiac signs of 500,000 users and analysed how each sign behaves within the app.
Monika Bunjaku, a Data Scientist at Dua.Com, shared that ““It was fascinating to see how users’ interactions and preferences aligned with Astrology. This study added another layer of understanding the user behaviour within the app”.
The platform discovered that Cancers are very open to dating apps, making up the largest portion of users when it comes to the Zodiac signs. Dua.com explained that since Cancers see family connections as important, it makes sense why they want to create strong bonds on the platform.
It also found that Scorpios are the Zodiac group that are most invested in serious relationships, with 64% of them using the #serious tag in their profiles.
But which Zodiac signs are most desired? Virgo females received the highest number of likes from males, followed by Leo and Cancer. Among men, Virgo, Libra and Scorpios received the highest percentage of likes from women.
Dua.com also studied matches, and found that Scorpio and Cancer are the ultimate match with a power percentage of 10.6%. Conversely, Sagittarius and Taurus were the least compatible.
