EliteSingles Has Appointed A New CFO

Herbert Sablotny joins the German dating business from management consultancy firm McKinsey & Company.
He will work alongside EliteSingles’ current leadership team of CEO Jeronimo Folgueira and COO Michael Schrezenmaier.
The former management consultant will lead EliteSingles’ finance, HR and legal departments, helping to continue the company’s recent momentum.
Speaking about the hire, CEO Jeronimo Folgueira said: “We are delighted to bring such an experienced and capable executive to our team.
“It is a very exciting time for EliteSingles; we are growing fast and are increasingly profitable, and I have no doubt Herbert will contribute greatly to keeping this momentum.”
EliteSingles is owned by parent company Affinitas GmbH, which also runs eDarling, and is targeted towards single professionals looking for long-term relationships.
Last year, Affinitas closed €60m in revenue and expects the EliteSingles brand to push a 20% growth for the company this year – its new users growing by 70% in Q1.
Prior to joining McKinsey & Company’s Digital Practice, Sablotny worked at Rocket Internet in Berlin and Goldman Sachs in Frankfurt.
Sablotny started his role of EliteSingles CFO on 1st July.
Earlier this year, EliteSingles revealed its new logo and rebrand across its entire portfolio.
