Four Charged For Murder Of Plenty Of Fish Date

Plenty Of Fish Date

Four people have been charged for the fatal shooting of Plenty of Fish date Jordan Collins last September.

Jordan Collins, 23, invited two women he met on Plenty of Fish, Nashea Poole and Clarissa McGhee, as well as his brother Chad Collins to a house in Redan on 1st September, “on the pretence of a date.”

The house was said to be the home of an unidentified woman who was suspected to have been out of town at the time of the incident.

During the date, McGee asked Jordan Collins to step outside to quiet a dog – a request that ultimately lead to him being shot to his death.

Chad told police that he heard his brother tell his murderers to “chill out”, shortly before he heard a gun being fired.

And having heard the commotion, Chad rushed outside to check on his brother, only be be shot five times by the gunmen himself, sustaining injuries that he recovered from in hospital.

The two girls and two other suspects left the scene shortly after the incident, however, McGee’s phone was later found at the house in Redan, which lead police to believe the two girls and Antonio Avery and Demarco Butlersuspects were involved in the murder.

Three children related to the Collins brothers were also reported to have been upstairs during the time of the shootings, however they were unharmed.

Franchesca Collins, sister to Jordan and Chad wrote in an online fundraising campaign: “Words cannot express our heartache and how much we love and miss Jordan.

“Although our hearts ache, we understand that God makes no mistakes and has called Jordan to rest.”

As it stands DeKalb County police have arrested Antonio Avery, Demarco Butler, Nashea Poole, and Clarissa McGhee with murder and aggravated assault.

All four are currently detained in DeKalb County Jail.
