Luxy, an exclusive dating app for wealthy singles, has created a new AI system that automatically matches nearby users with a compatible profile.
Officially launching on 23rd July, ‘Find The One’ alerts users every day at 8pm when their guaranteed match has been made. The algorithm works by scanning all of the members in the area and pairing them up based on their compatibility and common interests.
Each new match comes with a score which indicates how likely they are to start a successful conversation.
Select users have already had access to a beta version of ‘Find The One’, helping the AI get a better understanding of what constitutes a compatible match. They can also add their own filters on certain criteria, such as ethnicity and income.
Apps that only show members a select number of profiles each day, known as slow dating platforms, are a popular sub-section of the industry, with many people using them to combat dating fatigue. However, this latest update is not a complete pivot from Luxy, as it still support its existing swipe and search functionalities.
Earlier this year, Luxy added a new feature giving people the ability to add reviews to their friend’s dating profiles. They can add up to three tags which best reflect the personality traits of their single friend.
All responses are completely anonymous and the reviewers don’t need a Luxy account in order to take part.
