Muzz Reaches 10 Million Members
Muzz, the leading Muslim marriage app, has reached 10 million members. Founded by Shahzad Younas from his home computer, the company now has over 110 employees and has created 500,000 success stories.
Younas left behind his career in the financial sector at Morgan Stanley to focus on creating a platform which helps Muslims to find their perfect marriage partner.
Since then, Muzz has come leaps and bounds, raising over $9 million in investment in its Seed and Series A rounds. Reaching the 10 million member mark is the latest step in its series of achievements.
Muzz sets itself apart from other dating apps by providing numerous features that are relevant to Muslim singles. These include unique privacy features; support groups separated by gender; filters based on sect, ethnicity, prayer behaviour; and more.
Beyond its work in the dating & marriage sector, the platform has also been making a difference through its charitable efforts.
In a recent letter from its CEO, Muzz shared its perspective on the conflict in Gaza, highlighting that it has previously helped raise $300,000 & $250,000 for mobile clinics and medical supplies in Palestine.
