The League Goes Live in Paris
Ambitious singles in Paris are now able to sign up to The League, after the dating app officially launched in the city today (Tuesday 18th September).
Amanda Bradford, CEO of The League, announced the launch on her LinkedIn page. She revealed that over 5,000 people had signed up to be one of the first users, but only 506 had been successful .
Paris is just the second European city, after London, to host the dating app, which was initially released in January 2015.
Meredith Davies is the Head of Communications at The League and oversaw the launch in the French capital.
She said on LinkedIn: “The League chose Paris as its second European city due to the volume of career-driven ambitious singles on the waitlist.”
Bradford gave more statistics about the Paris ‘Founding Class’. For example, 18% of them have a master’s degree, and 5% of them work for beauty company L’Oreal.

70 lucky users were hand-picked to go on the holiday, which gave them a chance to meet other singles in a romantic, real-world setting.
