Three Year Tinder Couple Go On First Date In Hawaii
The three year Tinder couple have finally gone on their first date in Hawaii.
Josh Avsec and Michelle Arendas’ first date was funded by Tinder after their story went viral when Josh posted their amusing Tinder exchange on Twitter.
The couple had spent three years messaging back and forth, both making excuses for their lack of reply.
Tinder then offered to fund their first date, the couple choosing Hawaii, before meeting for the first time on Good Morning America.
And NBC News now has the story on their first date at the Grand Wailea Resort in Maui.
As Tinder’s head of marketing and communications Rosette Pambakian said about the story: “We’ve been getting media requests from around the world with requests to interview us and the couple and hear more about this. It hasn’t been a difficult story to peddle at all.
“This is a great example of not realizing how moving your experience can be to people around the world until you share it.”
