Thursday Announces Second Ski Trip Event

Dating app Thursday has announced the dates of its upcoming singles ski trip, which will be held in France in March 2024. The event is being organised in partnership with pearº, signifying a strong collaboration between two IRL dating brands.

Named ‘LuvSki 2024’, Thursday is calling the event “the biggest ski trip in the world for people who hate dating apps”. The Thursday dating app specialises in organising offline events where singles can meet new people IRL.

The ski trip will take place between 23rd – 30th March 2024, in Val Thorens, France. Thursday shared that attendees can expect “igloo raves, ski parades, gondola parties, club takeovers, snow brunches, glacier yoga”, and more.

The dating app highlighted that at last year’s ski trip, 52% of attendees booked their spot solo. It also shared that the average age of attendees was 27, but that the event saw singles aged from 21 to 40 in attendance.

Partnering with Thursday for the event is pearº (Pear Ring). pearº represents a social experiment to change the way people date, as they encourage singles to wear a recognisable ring on their finger. The ring signifies that the individual is open to meeting new people, and is meant to help spark offline connections.
