Tinder CEO Describes Daily Goals in New Interview

Elie Seidman has taken part in a short ‘Day in the Life of’ interview with Fast Company, a leading American business magazine.

The interviewer asked how the Tinder CEO prepares for his day, how he likes to unwind and what his favourite products are.

After waking up at 5am every day, he sets some specific goals and leaves for the Tinder offices before his family are awake.

Seidman told Fast Company: “I like to put together priorities for the day: the things that must be done today, and work out how they ladder up into the rest of the week/month/year’s priorities.

“Doing this ensures that my schedule doesn’t control me, because I’m mindful of the big picture.”

He likes to stop using screens a few hours before going to bed, something which many medical professionals advise. Instead, he’ll relax by reading books and says that a good piece of fiction will take his mind away from a stressful day at work.

Tinder suffered a worldwide shutdown on 8th January, with thousands of users reporting issues with logging into their accounts or seeing their messages.

Despite being in charge of a leading digital company, Seidman believes that nothing will ever be able to improve upon pen and paper.
