Tinder Suffers Sign-In Problems Following Facebook’s Privacy Updates

Tinder’s sign-in process has been down for many users following Facebook privacy updates.
The users that have been affected by the login loop were asked for extra Facebook permissions, but clicking through failed to do anything, with the user being sent back to the original Facebook sign-in request.
Some users have had success being able to sign in but have apparently lost all matches and messages on their account.
Facebook has altered its developer frameworks to try and improve its data privacy and it was “working with Tinder” to fix the problem.
Last night, Tinder tweeted: “A technical issue is preventing users from logging into Tinder. We apologize for the inconvenience and are working to have everyone swiping again soon.”
Tinder eventually fixed the problem with Facebook and posted the following tweet:
And we’re back! Apologies for the inconvenience. We missed you too. 💚 pic.twitter.com/796L1gLsCv
