Toyboy Warehouse picked up the award for Best Dating Company Blog at the third UK Blog Awards last week.
The cougar dating site beat Christian Connection, eHarmony, Guardian Soulmates, Hey Saturday, Mutual Attraction Matchmaking, Urban Social and WeLoveDates to take the prize for the category.
Toyboy Warehouse launched its blog back in 2006, and according to the site, has become an integral asset to the company’s growth, and vital in helping build a connection with its members.
Last year, the site’s blog also won Best Dating Blog at the UK Dating Awards 2015, and its founders, Turn Partners, were presented with the Best Dating Entrepreneur accolade for the second year running.
Speaking about why the blog has been so successful, Toyboy Warehouse Director Mike Bandar said: “We’ve worked hard to try and eradicate the societal stigma surrounding age-gap dating, and the blog has helped enormously with that – giving us a platform to air Toyboy Warehouse’s and our members’ views and opinion.
“This has also helped engage potential members, promoting a social view that others can embrace.”
The UK Blog Awards is the official ceremony for celebrating talent within the UK blogging industry, and recognises bloggers in areas such as photography, lifestyle, PR and marketing and dating.
Other winners included All-sweetness-and-life.com, who picked up the award for this year’s Best Dating Individual.
