UK’s First Dating Directory Launches
An independent Dating Directory has launched to help UK singles find dating platforms, matchmakers, singles events, coaching, and more. The directory was created by matchmaker and dating expert Lorraine Adams.
The Dating Directory looks to compile a comprehensive list of dating apps, whether they’re global brands or smaller niche platforms. The directory covers different age demographics, sexual orientations, locations, preferences, and more.
Dating apps or services are added regularly and for free to the directory. For more information contact info@the-datingdirectory.com. The organisation publishes a weekly newsletter which is sent to the directory’s 10,000 subscribers.
The directory looks to support singles who are trying out dating apps and “start to feel a bit like a rabbit in the headlights”. It points out that most singles try the first dating app that they stumble upon, with few actually researching about an app’s offerings or reviews.
The platform was created by Lorraine Adams, who first came into the dating sector 24 years ago when she pioneered the Speed Dating concept and launched the speed dating events known as ‘Gorgeous Get-togethers’.
Adams has experience working as a consultant to new dating startups and established brands. She shared that “I wanted The Dating Directory to become the first place singles would visit before diving in. The aim is to help navigate their journey and make singles feel supported so their dating feels less of a chore!”.
