Hutch, the interior design app that counts Sean Rad as a board member, has just raised a further $10m in funding.
Rad invested in the company after Beatrice Fischel-Bock, Lizzie Grove & Madeline Fraser appeared on Shark Tank pitching Zoom Interiors.
Zoom then morphed into Homee, aiming to connect users with interior design experts, before the company pivoted again to become Hutch.
Hutch is a mobile product that lets you take a picture of a room, then visualise how different products would look in it using the app’s 3D visualiser.
Tinder co-founder Sean Rad joined after the Shark Tank appearance as an angel investor, while also taking a position on the company’s board and joining its $5m Series A funding last July.
And the company has just raised a further $10m in funding from real estate platform Zillow, a deal that sees Zillow CEO Spencer Rascoff also joining the Hutch board.
This takes Hutch’s total investment to just over $17m.
