Startup Roundup 28th June
This Startup Roundup is presented in partnership with The Social Discovery Group, who are currently eager to connect with startups in the social discovery and online dating space.
Kendra G Singles – Find your person anywhere in the world: Created with Singles Live by Chicago radio personality, Kendra G, Kendra G Singles intends to “help singles find love this summer” and is available on both Android and iOS.
Spoony – All the friends, none of the fear: Spoony is the new community platform for neurodivergent, chronically ill, and disabled people. The app previously promised a Q4 launch and despite teasing an earlier May launch on social media, is yet to confirm its debut.
I’m Lonely, Inc. – Fostering genuine in-person connections: Founded in early 2024, I’m Lonely Inc. is an innovative dating app designed to help users connect in person with those that share similar interests in the community. The app will be available on both Android and iOS devices from 1 August 2024.
In Case You Missed It! Here’s last week’s Startup Roundup:
Heyoosh – The ‘world’s first’ AI-based personal matchmaker: Heyoosh bills itself as the latest Tinder rival. The Israeli dating app has a heavy privacy and security focus, with users connecting directly to the app via their Apple ID (the app is currently only available on iOS) and no image sharing permitted via messaging. Over time the matchmaking app’s AI-based system will learn users’ preferences to match them with better potential partners.
FET – Unleash your wildest desires: Proudly proclaiming itself ‘the ultimate dating platform for kinksters’, FET is a safe and consensual home for the kink-curious and BDSM community, priding itself on being ‘unapologetically open’. Features include 24/7 live chat, newsfeed and free image sharing.
EZMatch – Easy to pair, easy to chat, easy to meet: Available on Android and iOS, and developed in Vietnam, EZMatch promises to ‘help you find half of your life after only 30 days’.
