BeeDee Acquires Meet Kinksters for Sex-Positive Dating Audience

BeeDee, a sex-positive dating platform, has announced its acquisition of Meet Kinksters, a move that consolidates two niche apps focused on aligning users based on both sexual and romantic compatibility. The deal also paves the way for BeeDee’s debut on the Apple App Store, expanding its accessibility beyond Android and web users.

Pieter Reuse, BeeDee’s CEO, explained the strategic alignment behind the acquisition: “Both our platforms were aimed at connecting people with compatible desires, so it made sense to combine our efforts.” While financial details were not disclosed, the transaction marks a notable shift in the online dating space, where sexuality is increasingly recognized as central to long-term relationship satisfaction.

Meet Kinksters, launched in 2022, gained traction for its unique positioning and branding, including the tagline “Submit to Love,” which playfully emphasized the value of open expression of desire in forming lasting connections. Its integration into BeeDee signals a broader attempt to unify the fragmented landscape of kink-aware and alternative dating platforms.

BeeDee was launched in 2023 by the creator of BDSMtest.org, a popular online tool that helps users explore their sexual preferences. Though the founder remains anonymous, the site’s dataset and community formed the backbone for BeeDee’s rapid growth over the past year. Commenting on the merger, Brad Jones, founder and CTO of Meet Kinksters, said: “Today, the majority of relationships begin online, and the apps we use to connect shouldn’t require we check our sexuality at the door.”
