Breeze Social to Open London Pop Up to ‘Banish Mundane Dating App Chat For Good’

Breeze Social is expected to launch a pop-up attraction in London this week to show the UK’s “most loathed dating app messages”.

The Dutch-based dating app will celebrate the pop-up opening of The Museum of Dead Chat tomorrow (July 25) in Soho, where it will open to the public for two days till July 26.

The museum will expose the nation’s most cringeworthy opening lines, hated messages, and biggest icks through artwork, installations, and immersive experiences.

Breeze Social launched in 2020 and rapidly expanded following an appearance on the Dutch version of Dragon’s Den in 2021.

Described as the “offline dating app”, users match with other profiles and then would have to wait until two hours before the date set up by the brand themselves.

The platform recently expanded to Germany this year and is anticipated to launch in other European countries.

Visitors will have the chance to laugh, cry, and grimace at the expedition between 2-6pm on Thursday (July 25) and 10am-8pm on Friday (July 26).

Breeze Social announced on Instagram last week (July 18) about details of the event.

The post wrote: “Welcome to The Museum of Dead Chat. 💀🖤

“Showcasing the UK’s most loathed messages from dating apps, from the most cringeworthy opening lines through to the nation’s biggest icks. Breeze is here to banish mundane dating app chat for good.

“Join us for our official London launch on Thursday 25th July (2-6pm) and Friday 26th July (10am-8pm). Find us at 59 Greek Street, Soho, W1D 3DZ 🇬🇧.”
