Dixner Acquires CrushParty to Launch Singles Events Brand
French social experiences company Dixner has acquired CrushParty, marking its first acquisition and expansion into the singles market. The company is launching Dixner Crush, a new brand offering events exclusively for singles, including private parties, games, and smaller gatherings hosted by ambassadors who help guests meet one another. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
Founded in Paris in 2023 by Astrid Beaufils, Dixner originally brought together groups of ten strangers for dinner, matching participants based on their personalities and interests. Beaufils developed the concept after experiencing loneliness and burnout following a decade working in fashion. The business has since expanded into drinks, workshops and other social activities, attracting more than 100,000 registered members and organising over 8,000 events.
Dixner operates across France, including Paris, Lyon, Marseille, Bordeaux, Toulouse, Lille and Nantes. The company has also expanded internationally, with events reported in Belgium, Switzerland and Luxembourg. The company has also raised funding from private investors, including customers who had participated in its events.
CrushParty was founded in Paris by childhood friends Charlotte Werba and Lucie Le Cadre. It started in October 2021, when the pair organised a party for their single friends after the COVID-19 lockdowns. The business was formally established in February 2023, with Romain Nibourel also serving as a director. CrushParty organises singles parties and smaller dinners in Paris, typically attracting people aged 30 to 40.
Following the acquisition, Werba, Le Cadre and Nibourel will become investors in Dixner. The company will continue its existing dinners, workshops and social events alongside the new Dixner Crush brand.
