Three Day Rule Unveils Tai, Its AI-Driven Matchmaking Platform

Matchmaking firm Three Day Rule has officially launched an AI matchmaking app powered by “Tai”, an artificial intelligence designed and trained using data from professional matchmakers. The iOS app integrates the company’s traditional matchmaking insights with automated systems to bring curated introductions and guidance to a broader audience. Unlike traditional dating apps relying on swiping or open browsing, Tai handles the matching process end to end.

The AI reviews intake through audio and text, verifies profiles, helps facilitate connections, and collects post-date feedback to refine future matches. The app also includes coaching features – users can tap Tai for advice on conversational moves or next-date decisions. The app offers two tiers: a free version with baseline access (AI chat, coaching, limited matches) and a premium option (guaranteed matchmaking, unlimited conversations, custom introductions). The initial rollout includes a 30-day free trial of the premium tier. Three Day Rule claims the app is backed by 15 years of internal matchmaking data and insights from over 60 human matchmakers.

According to CEO Adam Cohen-Aslatei, Three Day Rule’s aim is to bring elements of “white-glove matchmaking” to more users by combining human matchmaking methodology with scalable AI. “Singles are tired of the Wild West of swiping, fake profiles, and wasted time,” he said. “Our AI Matchmaker vets every introduction, collects real feedback, and supports daters with coaching,” he added. To this point, while Three Day Rule’s legacy service has charged clients up to $5,900 for a three-month program, the new app makes a version of that service more accessible to a wider and less exclusive audience.
