TikTok Teams Up with Cameo for Personalized Videos
TikTok has announced a new partnership with Cameo, the popular fan connection platform known for personalized video messages, aimed at giving creators fresh ways to earn money directly within the TikTok app.
Announced on March 31, 2026, the integration allows U.S.-based TikTok creators to sign up for Cameo seamlessly inside TikTok and start offering custom video requests to their followers. Fans can now request personalized messages – such as birthday shoutouts, advice clips, or fun greetings – without ever leaving the TikTok experience, thanks to dedicated call-to-action buttons on creators’ content.
According to TikTok, the move streamlines the process for both sides. Creators, who have been among the fastest-growing talent on Cameo, will benefit from easier onboarding and a dedicated in-app listing that appears when users search for “Cameo.” This closer connection is expected to drive more fan engagement and turn casual viewers into paying customers for one-on-one content.
The partnership comes at a strategic time for Cameo. The platform has worked to expand access for creators since opening up its CameoX onboarding process in late 2024, aiming to reverse recent declines in usage by attracting more social media stars. For TikTok, the collaboration provides an additional revenue stream beyond its existing creator funds, gifts, and subscriptions – potentially helping retain top talent who are constantly seeking new ways to monetize their growing audiences.
While initially rolling out in the U.S., the integration could expand further if successful. TikTok’s Director of Global Product Partnerships, Franklin Ramirez, made the goal very clear: bringing highly personalized experiences directly into the app to strengthen creator-fan relationships.
