Tinder Spain Launches ‘Don’t Let Them Tell You Stories’ Campaign

Tinder has doubled down on its safety focus with the launch of its latest campaign.

“Don’t let them tell you stories” aims to increase the number of verified profiles on the dating app, encouraging users to carry out the ‘Photo Verification’ process offered by the app to prove they are the person behind their profile.

Tinder has offered the verification service since 2015, with profiles that have passed displayed a blue badge and users able to encourage matches to do the same with their own profiles to encourage more authentic matching. Those with verified profiles can also choose to receive messages only from other verified members.

Tinder’s “Don’t let them tell you stories” campaign is the latest privacy and security drive from the dating app and follows their 2023 introduction of the “selfie video”. The new function requires users to obtain their blue badge of verification by answering a series of questions in video format for increased security, rather than using a static image.
