The co-founder of a company that hacks growth for startups has written an interesting article about how to understand user behaviour in app stores and best use it to your advantage.
Writing in The Next Web, Ranky’s Shachar Shamir argues that the key to an app’s success comes from ensuring your app is aligned with consumers’ search intent and “fundamentally understanding what users see when they search and how they are pushed from merely browsing to downloading an app.”
The co-founder says search intent on mobile app stores is vastly different to desktop, giving some useful tips on finding related queries, the busiest install times on the App Store and Google Play, as well as how to create a search listing that users will actually click.
