Indian Dating App Gets Funding From The League Investors IDG Ventures

Indian dating startup iCrushiFlush today announced it has raised funds from worldwide venture capital firm IDG Ventures.

IDG Ventures has a global network in China, India, USA, Vietnam and Korea.

The VC firm has $3.6bn under management and a portfolio of over 220 companies built over the last 15 years.

Earlier this year, the firm took part in a $2.1m investment round for exclusive dating app The League.

IDG Ventures has previously invested in companies like Flipkart, Yatra, Newgen, Lenskart.com, Vserv, Firstcry.com, Manthan Software and Zivame.com.

ICrushiFlush is a new location-based casual dating app where singles can send one another virtual gifts, flirt anonymously and get reward credits for things like recommending friends.

The pre-series A funding will be used for product enhancement and marketing.

The app has so far reached 500,000 downloads across India, and is seeing a 25% increase month-on-month in over 12,000 towns around India.
