A new online dating show is coming to UK television, centred around people who Catfish other singles.
The dating show, called I Lied For Love, will help people who lied about their identity online find love.
The E4 show will be presented by Stacey Soloman, and will explore what makes people lie about themselves online in order to get a date.
Almost working like a reverse of the TV show Catfish, Solomon will first meet the people who have lied online, help them create truthful profiles and find them a date.
The show is being produced by Znak & Jones, which has offices in LA and London, and specialises in entertainment shows, formats, unscripted reality and event TV.
The indie production company was created by Simon Jones, an exec who has been involved with The X Factor, Got Talent and The Apprentice, and Natalka Znak, another TV exec who has worked on Secret Millionaire, I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! and Hell’s Kitchen.
The new show seeks to ask: “What happens when people go too far and lie about themselves in order to bag the perfect online date?”
A launch date for I Lied For Love has not yet been set.
