As Valentine’s Day approaches, Tinder has teamed up with Zomato to help couples in India find the best date venues.

The two company’s have combined to bring users a “Tinderlicious Collection” of restaurants which are suitable for celebrating this year’s Valentine’s Day.

On its app, the restaurant search website has added the collection, which lists the “coolest and fun places in your city, with ideal settings to get to know a match better.”

Its site reads: “Take your match to the most happening places in in town – with delicious food and a Tinderlicious ambience.”

The collection will be available in various cities across India, including Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Kolkata, Pune, Ahmedabad, and Chandigarh.

Last year, Zomato recorded a 50% increase in the time users spent on the Collections page on Valentine’s Day.

And with its latest partnership with Tinder, it is likely to see a similar surge in visitors this year.

Tinder is continuing to grow its presence within India’s emerging mobile market, witnessing a more than 400% increase in downloads in the region in 2015.

Off the back of this success, the app appointed a new head of operations in the country earlier this month.

Taru Kapoor will now lead Tinder’s operations in India, its first base outside of the US.
