5.3 Million New Ashley Madison Accounts Created in 2018
Ashley Madison has released its annual statistics report detailing how many new members it welcomed during 2018.
5.3 million new accounts were registered during the past year, taking the total number of members on the infidelity platform to over 60 million.
In the same report last year, Ashley Madison revealed that over half of its active members were women (the only men considered ‘active’ were those purchasing credits).
For every paid male profile in 2018, there were 1.11 profiles belonging to women.
Ashley Madison’s Chief Strategy Officer Paul Keable said in a statement: “Our unique community of like-minded people continues to grow across the globe. We offer discretion to those seeking infidelity, and clearly, with strong results underscoring the company’s growth, what we offer is in demand.”
The USA is still the most popular market, with an average of 183,000 new sign ups each month. In second position, 124,000 Brazilians join the platform monthly.
The President of Ashley Madison’s parent company Ruby Life, Ruben Buell, took part in a Q&A session at GDI’s London Dating Conference 2018.
