California Dating App Launches
The California Dating App has just launched, bringing hyper-local dating opportunities to residents of the American state. The platform will look to get Californians out on in-person dates and reduce the endless swiping they face
The app uses AI to ensure only singles around California can register, preventing bots and non-locals from joining.
“Most dating apps operate as international platforms and are fraught with romance scammers,” said Ben Mussi, founder of the California Dating App.
“The California Dating App has advanced security to ensure the user base is 100% real and local to California”, he continued. It uses AI models trained using a database of more than 27,000 previously banned profiles in order to detect users that don’t meet the set requirements.
To help busy singles find dates, the app enables users to set their schedule within the platform, and consequently connect with fellow locals with similar availability. Instead of matching based on distance, users have the ability to select neighbourhoods on the app’s map for dating.
The California Dating App is another platform in Mussi’s portfolio, building on the popularity of the Northwest Dating app. That app was focused on connecting singles in Seattle, Portland, and other Northwest areas, with over 220,000 matches already formed.
