Dig, the fast-growing dating app for singles who love dogs, has just won a $50,000 prize to put towards future digital marketing campaigns.
The award was presented at the Pet Care Innovation Summit, hosted by pet food company Purina, and will help Dig launch an interactive promotion in the near future. It will feature real dogs and their single owners from all across the US.
Support will also be provided by Centro, a Chicago-based digital marketing agency.
The success comes at a good time for Dig, with the app riding high on a wave of dog-friendly launch parties.
Co-founder and CEO Leigh Isaacson said in a statement: “This marketing prize couldn’t have come at a better time.

“We’re about to enter the most active time of year on dating apps, and we want to let all the dog-lovers know that there are like-minded, dog-loving singles ready to meet them and their pups on Dig.”
The app has also committed to using its growing popularity for good; all of the dogs in its promotional social media are available for adoption from local animal shelters.
Dig’s next launch event is set to take place in Las Vegas on 5th December 2019. A number of service providers will also be in attendance to help guests look after their pets in the best way possible.
Isaacson appeared at the recent GDI London Dating Conference 2019. The entrepreneur hosted a session on how startups can make a splash in mainstream media.
