Eden Releases New Verification Feature & More

Dating app Eden has released a host of new features, including verification with facial recognition, new filters, and updated community guidelines. 

Justin Haar, founder of Eden, has shared new details about the recent features added to the dating platform. 

In terms of trust & safety, the platform has adopted a liveness verification with facial recognition technology. Eden users will also be able to use their biometrics with Apple’s Face ID or Touch ID to access the app.

Users will now be able to filter potential matches based on their verification status, age range, height range, distance, and more. Furthermore there will be new options for what users can state they’re looking for, including: Chats, Dates, Friends, Networking, and Relationship.

In addition, a new host of app rules/guidelines have been added to the platform and will be displayed upon sign up, log in, and other areas. These rules highlight core values such as consent, self-expression, and being able to connect with others without judgement.

Furthermore, for premium users on Eden+, new features are available such as read receipts, increased number of profile photos, visibility of online status, and more.
