App researcher Jane Manchung Wong has uncovered the latest Facebook Dating update.
When Dating is released in a user’s region they will see the small heart logo appear on their profile tab. The shortcut has been pinned to the top to allow obvious and quick access to the new platform.
Although the update is not officially live yet, Wong is a reliable source for developments. She previously revealed screenshots from Facebook Dating’s internal tests and the Suggested Matches feature in groups and events.

Facebook has always said that users would have to opt in to use Dating, as not everyone is looking for love online. However, pinning the shortcut to the top of a profile could drive more traffic to the platform and convince users to give it a try.
Facebook Dating has been publicly testing in Colombia since September, but there has been no word as to when it will be available in more markets.
One new Facebook feature that is beginning to be rolled out is 3D Photos.
The update for iPhone users was announced at the Facebook F8 conference in May and gives users the sensation that they can look inside their pictures and move around.
TechCrunch is reporting that 3D Photos is available on mobile News Feeds and the Facebook-owned Oculus VR platforms.
At the time of writing, everyone is able to view 3D Photos and Facebook will give every iPhone user the ability to create them in the coming weeks. More phones are expected to be added in the future.
