Flutter Asia Acquires Perfect Match Jakarta, Two Companies Will Merge
Perfect Match Jakarta has been acquired by Flutter Asia and will re-brand following the acquisition.
The deal, the terms of which were undisclosed, will see the two companies merge to offer singles a platform for serious dating, with an emphasis on online safety and security.
Flutter Asia is a safety-conscious dating platform that asks singles to upload things like a professional photo, a copy of their ID, driver’s license, school certificates or business cards, so the company can vet users.
Flutter Asia looks through all the data, and if everything is in order, singles will be granted a “100%” rating on their profile (similar to a verification tick), the app then filtering potential matches based on their verification status.
People’s names are also replaced with numbers on their profile until two users “match each other’s criteria”.
It is also worth noting that Flutter Asia only accepts users who are 21 or older.
Flutter Asia co-founder Gordon Enns said: “Our hope is that users who have met their match in this site would recommend the platform to other potential users.”
PM Jakarta, on the other hand, aims to offer business professionals in Jakarta and the surrounding area the chance to meet other singles online.
Its Google Play Store listing reads: “PMJakarta goes beyond “matchmaking” and builds a simple, secure, and effortless way for single professionals to find their Perfect Match.”
PM Jakarta’s website now directs users to the Flutter Asia site and says that it has “transformed” to offer singles a better service.
