Grindr’s INTO Partners with The Tenth Magazine

Grindr’s online lifestyle platform INTO has announced a partnership with biannual LGBTQ print publication The Tenth Magazine.

The Tenth hosts content from LGBTQ artists and intellectuals of colour. Volume three looks to “explore Black/Gay/Queer L.A. through the eyes of its most dream-y and dream-ing inhabitants.”

The latest issue, ‘THE ROMANTICS’, is released in print only in late January. As part of the collaboration, however, INTO readers can access a preview article online.

The preview is an interview entitled ‘The Epic Romance of Saeed Jones and Isaac Fitzgerald’, hosted by black journalist Ashley Ford.

It profiles Jones, a poet, essayist and memoirist, and Fitzgerald, Co-owner of The Rumpus, and gets their take on how their unique friendship developed over the years.

To celebrate the new partnership, The Tenth Magazine and INTO will host “THE ROMANTICS EXHIBITION” in February. The event will include a cocktail party and photography show at Hudson Opera Hall, New York.

INTO is exploring a number of new content partnerships as it continues to expand in the LGBTQ online space. Since launching in August, the website has accrued over 3.5 million unique monthly visitors.

Earlier this month, Grindr’s Peter Sloterdyk told GDI: “It’s something that we believe in and that we’re really excited about as a company. You can expect more content and more global partnerships like the podcast that will give us a unique offering in the space.”

‘Food 4 Thot’, a popular LGBTQ podcast, recently went live on INTO and Grindr. New episodes of the show are released every Sunday.
