Happn Releases New ‘Hobbies’ Feature for Users to ‘Find More Than Just A Partner’

Happn has unveiled a new app feature this month where users can add their favourite activities to their profile to attract other like-minded daters.

The dating app announced the launch of ‘Hobbies’, which rolled out on iOS and Google App devices last week. 

Users can use this element to showcase their personalities, through their favourite extracurricular activities, by choosing from 184 pursuits or ventures to put on their profile. 

These options are categorised into nine distinct categories for users to find easily, ranging from Food & Drinks to Geek Culture. 

The new addition comes following a recent survey, conducted by happn, revealed 70% of singles find shared hobbies crucial for liking a profile and 60% believe that knowing these details is essential for arranging enjoyable dates.
