Hello Group to Publish Third Quarter Financial Report on 30th November

Hello Group has announced that it will publish its financial results for the third quarter before the US markets open on Tuesday, 30th November.

Members of the management team, including CEO Li Wang, will host a conference call on the same day at 8am ET to discuss the results, answer questions from investors and outline plans for the upcoming quarter.

The social and dating company’s share price has grown by around 30% since early October, after a number of analysts have repeatedly commented on its upside potential.

Many believe that Hello Group is currently trading at a discounted price due to a period of decreasing growth and uncertainty around its direction. However, it has seen top-line growth in the previous three quarters and there is some excitement about the future potential of Tantan’s monetisation.

Hello Group beat analyst estimates in the second quarter after reporting total revenue of $568.7 million. It is expecting that figure to rise to approximately $580 million for the upcoming results, which would be slightly lower than the same period last year.

The holding company officially changed its name from ‘Momo Inc.’ in August. This was done to make the brand more appealing to global investors and to clear up potential confusion with its flagship product.
