Hinge Tests $50-60 Monthly Subscription
A spokesperson has confirmed that Hinge has raised its monthly subscription price to $50-60, up from $35, targeting highly motivated singles. The move is seen as Hinge’s equivalent to the Tinder’s ‘Platinum’ membership.
A report from TechCrunch writes that the Match Group is expecting its product Hinge to produce at least $100 million in incremental revenue in 2023. The change in subscription price will also be followed by further marketing of Hinge across the globe.
Bloomberg, who first broke the story, also reports that there are plans to test a $500 monthly plan on Tinder, with no further details at this time.
Hinge’s current Preferred Members plan lets users see everyone who likes them in one organised feature, set advanced filters on potential matches, send unlimited likes, with twice as many boosts.
