Instagram Launches New Payment Feature
Instagram has just added a payment feature to its app.
Instagram now lets its users add a debit or credit card as part of a profile, and they can easily set up a security pin and start buying things within the app.

Users will not need to leave Instagram to enter payment information elsewhere.
A spokesperson recently confirmed to TechCrunch that native payments for booking appointments like restaurants will be live for a limited set of partners also.
An example that is being used by Instagram is dinner reservation app Resy. Some of its clients’ Instagram pages now offer the payment tool for booking.
Instagram has also partnered with platforms Shopify and BigCommerce, and announced that users can expect direct payment integration for things such as cinema tickets on the app.

The company has confirmed that the payment settings are now visible and that the payments are backed by Facebook’s payment rules.
It has said that it will not be allowing links in captions is to maintain a smooth and uninterrupted browsing flow.
Competitor Snapchat started testing its native payments and checkout feature back in February.
