ITV’s Take Me Out Running Over-50s Version of Popular Show

ITV’s Take Me Out is looking to launch a special episode for candidates aged over-50.

The one-off episode will be part of the annual festive fundraiser Text Santa this year.

The host of the TV show, Paddy McGuinness said: “I’m so excited to be celebrating 10 series of Take Me Out.

“I always look forward to seeing romance blossom amongst a new line up of ladies and gents, including the over 50s!”

The host also tweeted a message encouraging older singles to apply for the popular ITV show.

The Match Group recently launched a new brand called OurTime for the over-50s market in the UK.

New research by the Centre for Economics and Business Research (Cebr) also discovered that over-50s daters add around £644m to the UK economy every year looking for love.

As always, TV shows like this can provide a good marketing opportunity for dating brands, especially those targeting singles over-50.
