LOVOO Targets €10,000 Donation with Movember Campaign

LOVOO, one of the brands owned by streaming and social entertainment umbrella The Meet Group, is aiming to donate €10,000 as part of a Movember campaign.

The activation has already featured special themed shows from creators Niknando and Witalik, as well as custom video gifts users can send in.

Every time a Movember gift is sent, its monetary value is donated to Team LOVOO’s Movember page.

Over 5 million men take part in Movember each year. The foundation looks to tackle issues including prostate cancer, testicular cancer and male suicide.

Its website copy reads: “Globally, men die on average 6 years earlier than women, and for largely preventable reasons.

“So we’re shining a light on the health risks men need to know about, increasing awareness to stop men dying too young.”

In November 2018, The Inner Circle added Movember badges to the profiles of several users. Those who opted in received a free membership for the month, and singles visiting their profile were able to donate to the cause.

Bumble donated to Movember the same year, but was made to apologise after one of its notification messages implied that women should match with men to support their mental health.
