Lunch Actually, one of the largest dating agencies in South East Asia, is preparing to host its first virtual speed dating events in Singapore and Thailand.
‘Single and Virtually Mingle’ is going to take place on 18th April and will try to couple up 20 singles, between the ages of 24 and 35, before the end of the two-hour event.
The hosts will be conducting icebreaker games as a group, before splitting everyone off and rotating each of them until they get the chance to speak to all participants from the opposite gender. Admission is $38 per person.
CEO and co-founder of Lunch Actually Violet Lim explained in a statement: “We know that we are all grappling with the current Covid-19 outbreak and that Singaporeans have been advised to stay home in this 1-month circuit breaker.
“We’re committed to continue to find ways to help singles connect with one another in meaningful and safe ways to help them widen their social circle.”
“We will continue to spread love while ensuring the well-being of our singles. We hope this Virtual Speed Dating event will turn out to be the start of a beautiful love story for singles in Singapore!”
Lunch Actually has already hosted two similar successful events for singles in Malaysia.
